Jacqueline Castellón, PsyD

Under supervision of Dr. Jose Corena, Psychologist (PSY21815)

Ms. Jacqueline Castellón has spent her life using her personal and career experiences to help her clients overcome their traumatic experiences and provide them with the support they need when their life seems to be overwhelmed with life stressors. While her focus is on veteran care, she also provides services to children, adults and families who are dealing with traumatic situations of their own. She also has extensive work experience working with individuals with disabilities and assisting them with advocacy and career/employment guidance. She knows there is no single approach that works for everyone, so she continues to educate herself on emerging therapies and psychological trends to provide the most comprehensive treatment that works for each of her client’s individual needs. She has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Psychodynamic Therapy. 

 

Ms. Castellón received her Master of Science degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Rehabilitation and Career Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles. She is currently completing her Doctoral degree in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In addition, Ms. Castellon is a Registered Psychological Assistant with the Board of Psychology.  She is fully bilingual English/Spanish and is available to take new clients.
